Safety and HR Coordinator
Western Archrib is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Safety and Human Resources (HR)Coordinator who will oversee workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. In addition, this role will provide support to the team leaders and managers, particularly in areas related to employee onboarding and training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety procedures and HR processes, with excellent organizational and communication skills. This position will be based out of our new SturgeonCounty production facility.
Health and SafetyCoordination:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety meetings, inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Organize and deliver workplace safety training sessions, including emergency preparedness, proper equipment usage, and first aid procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and training programs.
- Serve as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and audits.
HR Support Functions:
- Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding programs, ensuring a seamless introduction to the organization.
- Maintain and deliver training programs to enhance employee understanding of company policies, safety practices, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain training records and ensure all employees meet required certifications and safety training deadlines.
Support HR with employee engagement initiatives, compliance reporting, and administrative tasks.

Work Schedules
- Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm. Overtime maybe required on occasion.
Compensation
- Wage $28-30per hour depending on experience.

Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in health and safety coordination, HR, or a combined role.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, safety standards, and HR best practices.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple responsibilities across health and safety and HR functions.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effectively communicating safety and HR policies.
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
