Maintenance Technician
The Position
Western Archrib is looking for a motivated individual to join our MaintenanceTeam as a technician. This entry level position will be based out of our newSturgeon County production facility.

About the position
In this role, you will assist with maintaining and repairing machinery, performing routine inspections, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and grow your career in a hands-on environment. Some duties will include but not limited to:
- Performing scheduled inspections and maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Lubricating, cleaning, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Logging maintenance activities in records or systems.
- Keeping the maintenance area, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Disposing of used parts and materials properly.
- Documenting work performed, including parts used and time spent on tasks.
- Updating maintenance logs or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Participating in training sessions to improve technical skills and knowledge.
- Familiarizing with plant-specific processes, machinery, and safety protocols.

Work Schedules:
- Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm. Overtime maybe required on occasion.

Requirements:
Preferred Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in working hands-on with machinery.
- Reliable and persistent with a desire to develop new skills and advance within the maintenance field.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with tools and safety practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Candidates must be physically fit and able to lift to a maximum of 50 lbs consistently.
