The Position:

Western Archrib is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. This pivotal role will report directly to the Controller and oversee daily financial operations while driving efficiency and accuracy in our accounting processes.

About the Position

As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of Western Archrib. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining robust financial operations and internal controls while supporting a high-performing accounting team.

Key responsibilities include:

· Supervise daily accounting activities including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

· Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger, including month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annua financial statements.

· Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets and minimize financial risks.

· Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.

· Standard work schedule will be Mon-Fri 8am - 4pm

Compensation:

· Wage ranges from $60,000-$65,000 per annum depending on experience.
